[frustration3d]
Im making a little 3d engine. I have named it 'frustration3d'. And that's because it's been a hell getting it to work. It's (currently) a gouraud shader and reads the 3d 'ASC' format. There probably is tens of thousands just like this one out there so it isn't unique in any way. I'll put up some more screenshots when i make some progress. By the way I code using DJGPP.
gouraud shading
[update] Im making a texture mapper now but i had to abandon the asc and go with a format that included texture coordinates. I couldnt find any documentation on 3d formats except for 3ds and such witch i dont want to get into. (to complex and flexible for my simple program not to mention mind ;) I finally found one i could use, and that is 'COB' the one truspace uses. The only problem was that it used rectangles(4 vertices instead of 3 for each polygon). So i had to switch to use rectangles.

[freaked]
I have been working on this little game for quite a while now. It's a tilebased scroller. In other words it's a mario bros clone. The tiles are 32X32 and are in 'BMP' format. The tiles can be 'bumpy' aswell like in the picture to the right.. the background scrolls slower than the tiles making the background look more distant.. I have no monsters or bad guys runnin around so the game isnt playable yet. I have stopped working on it because i haven't got the time. Mabye I'll come back to it later (I always have).

All my projects are currently more or less cold.
I have replaced the old guestbook with one i made in perl.. take the time to fill it.
